#9 - Crop, Sharpen & Print - 18:00

Here are the final 4 steps to take before you print a photo in Photoshop. First you need to crop
or resize the photo, then add sharpening, before you print your picture.

If you want to have control of your images and prints, and not leave the decision of where to
crop your picture to a machine at your photo store, or to your printer, you will first resize your
picture before printing using the crop tool. The next step is to apply sharpening before printing,
because digital cameras tend to produce softly focused images that need additional
sharpening applied. Finally, this tutorial shows you the steps to print your picture using Print
with Preview in Photoshop to get the very best results. If you are sending your picture out to be
printed by a photo store or service, the last step of saving to a JPEG file is essential.
